Here we can discuss about alternative grids.

Unable to login to local OpenSim

Postby jgypsygrrl on Mon Mar 19, 2012 12:05 am

Hi,
I set up OpenSim locally on my computer (SimonaStick) and I'm trying to import my 2nd life inventory.
How do I change my name on Second Inventory to the one on Open Sim?

According to the news here, the new feature"Avatar Verifier" is supposed to allow me to add as many avatars as I own in any grid with just one click, directly from SI. However, it doesn't say how to do it.

Please let me know how.
Thanks!!

Hello jgypsygrrl
you need to upgrade your SI version to the Multi one for run Second Inventory with more than an avatar name.
You can upgrade your version by our web site, after the login, scrolling down your 'My Account' page there is a panel named 'Upgrade to Multi Avatar Edition', click on buy button.
Once upgraded your version, just connect with your new avatar name by Second Inventory, the auto avatar verifier will ask you to add your new avatar at the SI avatars list.
