[FIXED] 1.2.10 Critical Crash (Verified)

Postby Aramil on Sun Oct 11, 2009 10:44 pm

I receive some users report about a buch of errors using 1.2.10, so finally i take the time to test it today and in fact is loggining and after it start to connect to the region Second Inventory client crash and start to pop up tons of errors messages. I was not able to copy the critical error or even to use the send tool as the client keep poping up errors messages.

This issue is already under debug. The guys are working to fix it but it's very hard to reproduce and we didn't understand yet when and why it exactly happens. It's pretty rare and casual so if you can collect more info it would be appreciated.

From the server side all look normal, the user log and the logs shows that is even rezed. I tried to copy the error that the client show but is annoying as dont stop to pop up errors and it dont let me to copy or send the crash error report. If this information help: Im running the multi avatar version on windows XP SP3

what i was able to screen shoot and copy was this:
System Null Reference Exception
in libsecondlife.Lock lessQueue 1.Enqueue (T item)
in libsecondlife.Simulator.PackerReceiived(UDPPacketBuffer buffer)
libsecondlife.UDPBase.AsyncEndReceive(IAsyncResult iar)
System.Net.LazyAsyncResult.Xomplete (intPTR usertToken)
System.Net.ContextAwareResult-CompleteCallback (Object state)

i cant scroll down the rest of the error but at least is something

Lets us know if we can help you on any ways,
Regards

This issue was fixed and the patch will be published with 1.2.1.1

The temporary work around is to detach any attachment.
