If you want to enable again SI to login in Openlife you can now download the proper patch from the Download section of our website (you need to login first).

Here the instructions how to install the patch:

If you are using Second Inventory or it runs in backgroun terminate the software
before to proceed.
You just need to overwrite the file SecondInventory.exe with the patched one.

1) Download the patch (zip file) from http://www.secondinventory.com/files/download.php
   You need to login first in order to access the above web page. Pay attention to select
   the proper download, it's named: Open Life Patch.

2) Locate your Second Inventory installation folder
   (by default it should be C:\%ProgramFiles%\SecondInventory )

3) Unzip the file SecondInventory.exe in a temporary folder, say on the Desktop

4) Overwrite the file SecondInventory.exe present in C:\%ProgramFiles%\SecondInventory
with the new SecondInventory.exe just unzipped on the Desktop (or the temporary folder).
You can simply drag the file from the Destop to the folder C:\%ProgramFiles%\SecondInventory
and click on Yes when Windows asks you if you want to overwrite it.

You can run Second Inventory as usual and login into Openlife.

i would like too thank you fr the patch that came out
I am haveing problems getting it too work i have downloaded and installed after extracting the files. Still didnt work!
then uninstalled reinstalled but i still get this message.Info : Connecting to: http://71.6.205.102:8002 - (No Proxy)

According with you log, it seems that you didn't overwrite the file Second Inventory.exe with the new one provided in the zip file you downloaded from the website... Once you will replace the original file with the one patched you will read Connecting to: http://logingrid.net:8002

Please give it a check and if the problem persist contact Nereo Albatros or Vespona Piaggio to get help inworld, they will assist you step by step.

when i apply the patch second inventory crashes for me what am i doing or not doing?
i open it in a seperate folder and on the desk top then srag and drop when i try too install i get a
SI has quit running HELP!!!!

cowboy nagy, your not trying to apply the patch while the second inventory application is open, are you?
usually you have to close the application first then apply patches over the top of the second inventory installation, give it a go.

I created shapes on sl and wanted importing them on an open grid
it doesn t work

I had cheked all pieces are full perm and I am the creator
What have I to do?

To get an item out of SL with the 1.2.1.3 you must be the creator, no matter if you have full perm. Once the item is on your HD you can upload it on opensim.
