Connection time out message

I keep getting this message when i try and start SI

"Connetion TIME OUT! Please try and run Second Inventory."

It wont let me do anything else. Could i please get some help.

I also have same problem, I bought SI two weeks ago and I have never seen it open as it times out,despite disarming mcafee and trying on second pc and reinstalling windows 7.Twice I have requested help but they never replied ,has anyone ever solved this please?
